DAY 1: CUSCO - CALCA - FUNDO HUARAN - CANCHA CANCHA - ACCOPATA.
Your adventure begins with an early hotel pick-up in a private vehicle, followed by a scenic drive through the Sacred Valley to Huaran, the starting point of the Lares Trek. After meeting your trekking team, begin a gradual hike through the beautiful Cancha Cancha Valley, surrounded by Andean landscapes, native forests, and local wildlife.
Enjoy a freshly prepared lunch along the trail before continuing to Acopata, your first campsite, where you can relax, take in breathtaking mountain views, and enjoy dinner under the stars.

DAY 2: ACCOPATA - PACHACUTEQ PASS - QUISHUARANI.
Wake up with a hot drink and begin the most challenging day of the Lares Trek to Machu Picchu, hiking to the Pachacutec Pass (4,500 m). Enjoy spectacular views of glaciers, alpine lakes, and remote Andean landscapes before descending to Quiswarani, near the famous Seven Waterfalls, where you will camp for the night.

DAY 3 – QUISWARANI, CUNCANI & LARES HOT SPRINGS TO MACHU PICCHU)
This is the most rewarding day of the Lares Trek to Machu Picchu. Begin a steady ascent to the Willqaqasa Pass (4,200 m), with spectacular views of snow-capped peaks including Colquecruz and Pitusiray. Hike across high-altitude puna grasslands, natural lagoons, and agricultural landscapes before descending to the Cuncani community, where you connect with local families and children.
Continue by private transport through fertile valleys to the relaxing Lares Hot Springs, where you can soak in the natural thermal waters. After lunch, travel to Ollantaytambo and take the train to Aguas Calientes for the night.

DAY 4: AGUAS CALIENTES – MACHUPICCHU – AGUAS CALIENTES – CUSCO.
Enjoy an unforgettable experience at Machu Picchu with our professional tour guide. Travel by bus from Aguas Calientes to the Inca citadel and witness the magical sunrise over Machu Picchu.
Explore the site on a 2-hour guided tour, visiting the most important temples, terraces, and panoramic viewpoints, with time for photos. After the guided visit, enjoy free time to continue exploring at your own pace.
Huayna Picchu Mountain or Machu Picchu Mountain – Enjoy breathtaking views from above the citadel. Advance reservation is mandatory due to limited daily permits and requires an additional cost. Tickets must be requested at the time of booking, as availability sells out weeks in advance.
Return by bus to Aguas Calientes for lunch (not included), then travel by Expedition or Voyager train to Ollantaytambo, followed by private transfer to your hotel in Cusco.
